People So Bold! is animated and empowered by the spirit of the Rev.Marjorie Bowens-Wheatley (1949-2006) the late spouse and partner of Clyde Grubbs. Marjorie devoted her ministry to welcoming the stranger and helping Unitarian Universalism become an anti-racist, anti-oppressive and truly multicultural community of faith. She embraced with her whole being the People of Color community within Unitarian Universalism and envisioned a time when we would overcome all obstacles to our full participation in this our chosen faith. May what is written here honor her memory.
