Blogging UUA GA 06: Gentle reminders of aging

| | Comments (0)

This is Friday morning, the last day of the executive committee meetings. The Unitarian Universalist Minister's Association Executive meetings with many people in suite talks on Thursday and Friday. Yesterday we met with Bill Sinkford, Lee Barker, Rebecca Parker and members of the Ministerial Fellowship Committee. We also went through a process of orienting the new members of the Exec. Today we will meet with our new committee on ethics and collegiality, the ministers on the UUA Board of Trustee's, the Committee on Ministry for Anti Racism, Anti Oppression and Multiculturalism and the representative of UUMA focus groups. Its a full day and I don't get out and see the General Assembly much.

In the late afternoon we went over to General Assembly plenary and I got to check out the exhibit hall. After the rich discussions we were having in suite talks the plenary was a little boring.
