Every hour, someone commits a hate crime. Every day, at least eight blacks, three whites, three gays, three Jews and one Latino become hate crime victims. Every week, a cross is burned.

What can you do to prevent hate crimes? Tolerance. org has resources for you.  This site contains action plans for campus groups, community groups, public school students and teachers, parents.  Churches working to become multi cultural and welcoming congregations especially need to look at these materials, let us make every community a hate free zone.
