Becoming a blogger

| | Comments (0)

How does one become a blogger? Get a blog set up, define its theme and select a main topic that make sense to you. And begin writing entries! Simple!

What has prevented me from doing this in the past?

Well the software was somewhat problematic,
and I am always being distracted by this and that.

But mainly it is the public nature of the act of posting a web log.

Yet, I preach 36 times a year,
and speak in public at least that many times in addition.
But I seem to have "permission" for those public utterances.

I must be bold, write on theology and social justice
and other topics that interest me. I must write at least twice a week.
This will be for me a new ministry.
A ministry of writing, and building community
among those who would engage
in the deepening of religious liberalism,
and the transformation of Unitarian Universalism.

Native Americans dance for the renewal of community.
Let blogging be my dance!
